A Perfect Weekend

Iris did it!!! She finally got baptized. She has been married to Roy for a couple of years. She started going to church and Roy started following. He has not been since he was a teenager. So to see this happen and witness it was a miracle. Phil was the lucky one to baptize her. It was an amazing experience. We love everything about Iris.

They have 2 beautiful kids together. Garin and Kimber. Aarian is Roy's oldest from a previous marriage. One happy family working their way to the temple!

This amazing woman Iris is the reason for all of us getting together!
This was the first real family reunion of any sort here in AZ that we have had since I've married into the family. The Harding's are awesome people, rough around the edges but nice as they come. They would do anything for anyone-I can't say that about to many people I know, but if Frank and Margret Harding did one thing right in raising their kids that was it!

Brookise is a trooper!

Sisters making a plan to catch those chickens!

This picture reminds me of the book "Jimmy's Pet Boaconstictor"

Yup, she climbed all the way into the chicken coop!

Boston LOVES animals. This is Ender, the most beautiful Rotty I've ever seen. We need to get Boston and Brooks a dog, but need to get a place of our own.

Iris and I with our guns! Our men really like that!
I LOVE ROY!
This man is hilarious. Iris loves him, all parts of him. They are so in love with each other and you can see why. My favorite thing about Roy is he can pray like I've never heard a man pray before. He says the most sincere, heart felt prayers I have ever listened too. He's brought tears to my eyes and I've even opened them up to see if the Savior was in the room.

"Let me tell you a story about a man name" Roy....
There is probably not another family like Roy and Iris's. They are as hillbilly as they come. They live in the middle of no where, 15 miles off the main highway on rough dirt road. Running water, they have a generator, never leave the house with out a gun to shoot what ever may be lurking around. You have to experience them to believe me! They have a sign at the beginning of their property that says "Trespassers will be shot, Survivors will be shot again"!

Yes, that is a cane my husband is holding. The doctors are trying to figure out what is wrong. We had a family fast while we were up there and Lynn gave Phil a blessing. It was a very powerful experience. We know everything will be okay and Phil will be back to his normal self someday. I'm very grateful for the priesthood and love what it does for us!

The man of my dreams!
