Seminary

This week I have had the awesome privilege of subbing for seminary. Phil was supposed to sub, but since he can't drive anymore(due to doctor's orders) I have been able to do it. We are in Alma 34-38 this week. AMAZING topics and I was really excited to teach Alma 36 today. There are only 4 kids that come, all four showed up Tuesday, one yesterday and today nobody. I mentioned to Phil yesterday how the 2 kids I really wanted to be there for the lesson were not there. I was going to commit one of the kids to baptism. Satan watches us, he knows the good we are trying to do. So he also influences those we are trying to help. Let us not give into him. We are better than that, he is NOTHING and we need to kick him in the knee and tell him OH NO YOU DON'T!
I just wanted everyone to know how much I love the gospel. I hope that someday I get to be a seminary teacher and just not a substitute. The Scriptures can help us change our lives and live closer to the spirit. I'm so blessed to be raised by goodly parents who took the time and sacrificed their sleep to get me to early morning seminary. Thank you mom and dad. When our kids are older, let's do the same for them!
