New Year Goals


Alright everyone I need your help with keeping my goals. It's a new year and so many new things happening! I figure I'll have everyone help keep me on track so when you ask how I'm doing I have someone to report to. These may sound like selfish goals but I look at them as "if mama ain't happy nobody ain't happy"



  1. NO MORE CANDY, SODA, CHOCOLATE and DESSERTS

  2. Exercise 5 days a week

  3. Pay off Phil's student loan

So there they are folks! Three easy and very obtainable goals! I have done super so far. Last week I exercised every day. I ate an apple instead of a brownie-then went and delivered the rest to neighbors so I was not tempted! Feeling great! I wish all the best to everyone this year. I don't need encourgemnet I need advice should I have some chocolate covered nuts or an ice cream sundae or a chocolate shake. I can't decide they all sound soo good. Love ya

Good job Miken. I did the no soda last year, but I don't think I'm ready to give up the chocolate yet! You look great and congrats on the four years of bliss.

Miken, Motivate me babe!! I need some serious motivation to give up soda! I am an addict, and I don't know how to stop!!! I started a blog with my sister, from cow to wow, so hopefully that will motivate me to do something with myself!! You are so good. So, tell me all your secrets and I am in it with you baby!

Those are great goald, and yes, very optainable....I did them for a month over the summer, only worse. I only ate green vegetables for a whole month...no other food. Went down a size. I need to do it one more time to get where I should be. Just don't buy sugar. Seriously if it's not in your cupboard, you won't bake and junk. And any other recpeies that ask for sugar do fine without it. I just joined WW so we've been doing pretty good, cept we have Fat free, light ice cream once or twice a week. K, I've gotta say the best snack in the world is popcorn (even though my nutrisionist advices against corn and popcorn). Full of fiber, no fat, and no calories (til you pile on the butter) Anyways< i'm here for ya! Send me some encouragement too. I've got 20lbs (one size) to go. I wanted to get there by Valentines day, but now I'm shooting for 15 by then. 20 by March for our Cali trip. When are you guys coming to Az again? Is this the longest post ever?!
