To all of you who don't know my husband-you are missing out. You need to meet the man I married if you have never done so. Your life will never be the same. He's the best. I love his imagination, his determination and dedication. This year he's really been working hard on his book. He is writing a fantasy adventure book and his goal is to have it to a publisher by the end of the year. He writes it, I type it up for him. I'm not into all that stuff he's writing about but the story line is actually really good.
So about a month ago Phil was so excited to show me something, I was not allowed to look at the computer until he was all the way finished. I was thinking to myself...."man he's really got something good to show me, like a dream home or dream vacation spot." Little did I know when I was allowed to view the computer screen this is what I saw.
I said "you've got to be kidding me-seriously, this is what you've spent the past 3 hours working on. HA!" At first I was disappointed because it had nothing to do with me.:) But then got looking at my husband's masterpiece. It is pretty cool, he cropped himself in his own piece of dream armor that he wants to have made. He is actually having the helmet made right now. He already has the chain mail that he made. So here's to a wonderful man who is making his dream come true one piece at a time. I love you Phil!
A rough estimate of cost to have the whole thing is $2800. I told Phil if I win my Gold's gym challenge, I will buy him a piece or two so he can have more to play dress up with the girls.

has phil ever done SCA? not all his armor is to regs for actual fighting with them but i think he'd have a ball. i did heavy weapons fighting in high school and LOVED IT!!! they have WAR coming up soon near PHX. maybe you guys could check it out
